MCorpGlobal buys exclusive film rights to Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh's book 'Old Path White Clouds'.

MCorpGlobal has bought the exclusive film rights to ‘Old Path White Clouds – walking in the footsteps of Buddha’ - the internationally acclaimed book by the highly venerated Zen Master, Thich Nhat Hanh. The book sold over a million copies in USA and was translated into more than 20 languages.

Drawn directly from 24 Pali, Sanskrit and Chinese sources, it is written in a hauntingly beautiful and lyrical style, as it gently unfolds Buddha’s journey towards enlightenment and explores his life and teachings. An extraordinary treatise, it is truly destined to become a classic and revered spiritual text.

Dr.M, Chairman, has personally dedicated himself to the mission to produce a film on Buddha – a project which is dear to his heart and has been his dream for more than 17 years.

“Whence will the light come, if not from India… This is the land that gave birth to Buddha… His message of compassion is the true path to lasting global peace. It is up to us now, to once again revive the message and take it to the world…”

The executive producer of the film will be Michael Shane, who was also the executive producer of Hollywood blockbusters 'I Robot' and 'Catch Me If You Can".

Thich Nhat hanh’s life-long efforts to promote peace moved Martin Luther King Jr. to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967. He has authored nearly 80 books and is revered for his deep spiritual insights. Yet, he remains, at heart, just a simple Buddhist monk.
