Doctor M is the President of the Maha Bodhi Society of India. He firmly believes in the universal Buddhist principles of Karuna (compassion), Maitri (unbounded love) and Upekkha (equanimity).

The Maha Bodhi Society was founded in 1891 by Anagarika Dharampal. The society is dedicated to achieving global peace. Among its main aims is the revival of Buddhism in India, the land of its origin where it has where it has flourished for thousands of years, and spreading the sublime teachings of the Buddha and his message of love to all sections of people, irrespective of caste, creed and community.

The Society has been engaged in humanitarian work and welfare activities through its branches set up in several parts of India and in other parts of the world. With its tremendous depth of knowledge and vast reach across countries, the Maha Bodhi Society of India is rightly positioned to lead the global community based on the Right View as taught by the Tathagata.
